The Leaders Who Touch the Heart and Forget the Soul of the People

(by Chasa)

At first, it all feels like a new dawn.
A young face, a steady voice, a promise that sounds different.
The weary people listen and believe — at last — that someone understands.
It’s the charm of words, the spell of speech, the thirst for hope.

But we must look beyond the glow.
Because when the gift is too great,
when words sound too perfect,
we must pause, breathe, and look into the eyes, not the applause.

Many have touched the people’s hearts without seeing their souls.
They speak to hunger, to fear, to the longing for justice,
yet they forget that love without respect turns into domination,
and that compassion without humility becomes tyranny.

The world remains animal, clothed in civilization.
The jungle now lives in temples, in parliaments, on screens.
While some roar for power,
others simply pray to survive.

So, it is not enough to believe:
we must think, feel, and mistrust gently.
True freedom is offered by no leader;
it grows in silence,
when we stop waiting for miracles
and learn not to sell our souls
for a little hope.
